It sells for large amounts of money to enthusiasts in Europe and United States. The three types of Irish Sport Horses are the light, middle, and heavy weight. The classifications depend on the weight of rider they can carry. This decides if they can participate in certain activities and events. Today, most of them are middleweights. Concerning appearance, the Irish Sport Horse has a handsome head, a muscular neck, a deep chest, and a compact back. Available in a wide range of colors, this breed is usually not available in skewbald and piebald.
