Petit means small; Basset means low; Griffon means rough-coated, and Vendeen is the region it comes from. With coats of white with markings in black, sable, yellow, grizzle, or orange, Petit Basset Griffon Vendéens make happy pets. These dogs are very interactive and are always searching for new friends they can entertain. They love playing and spreading joy. Even though they crave attention and love, they also appreciate some private time and toys they can chew. This breed is very clever.
